About St. James Camino Network

The St James Camino network is a charity dedicated to rehabilitating and supporting drug dependent men living in Ireland. Since 1997 it has run holistic residential programmes to those who have shown an initial commitment to achieving a drug free existence - without the barrier of high cost. In that time the network has delivered a new start to the lives of over 500 participants and their familes from all walks of life.

What's Involved

Volunteers will be responsible for providing one to one counselling to clients who have been affected by addictions and are in recovery.

Volunteers must have a qualification in counselling which is accredited by a recognised counselling body.

Experience in addictions and recovery are essential.

Level of English required for this role:
Fluent English

Minimum time commitment: 6 months
