Lollipop Day Volunteers

Oesophageal Cancer - Clare Branch

What's Involved

The Oesophageal Cancer Fund runs its national fundraising and awareness Campaign Lollipop Day on Friday 28th & Saturday 29th of February each year to highlight the symptoms of Oesophageal Cancer in Ireland.

The ‘Lollipop’ emblem used on Lollipop Day signifies the relationship between a difficulty in swallowing and oesophageal cancer.

Lollipop Day itself is dependent on thousands of volunteers collecting out on the streets all around the country.

They are holding a collection in Ennis on both Friday 28th and Sat 29th Feb at Dunnes Stores, Tesco & Aldi. If you have 2 hours to spare any time from 10am to 6pm on any of the days please contact Dolores on 065 6845517
