About Enable Ireland Adult Services Clare
Enable Ireland provides services to children and adults with disabilities and their families from over 40 locations in 14 counties. Covering childhood to adulthood the expert teams work with the individual and their family on a plan for each life stage. They work in partnership with those who use the services to achieve maximum independence, choice and inclusion in their communities.
What's Involved
Enable Ireland Adult Services in Clare, operates from a centre in Clonroad Business Park and provides services to 20 people from 18 years upwards. The Adult Day service offers a wide range of programmes for the service users from training to relaxation.
They are currently looking for 2 male volunteers to join their support team at the Hydrotherapy Pool with regard to dressing / undressing and to give assistance in the pool.
This role takes place from Monday 10.30 at the Centre in Ennis to travel on the bus to St Gabriel's Hydrotherapy Pool in Limerick. Once the session is finished the support team will then travel back to the Centre in Ennis where they are included in refreshments. The role ends at 2pm.
NB it must be noted that it is the policy of St Gabriels that only males are allowed in the male dressing rooms therefore this role is for male volunteers only
