Clare Haven Horizons Charity Fashion & Furniture Home-Store is administered by the registered charity Haven Horizons. All proceeds from our charity store supports the research and development of programmes aimed at ending relationship abuse in society as well as the frontline domestic abuse support services of Clare Haven Services which includes refuge accommodation & outreach support services for women and children experiencing violence in the home. The success of our charity store greatly depends on the support of volunteers from the local community.
Clare Haven Horizons are a charity shop based on the Gort Road Industrial Estate. All funds generated from the Charity Shop go toward supporting Clare Haven Services. Clare Haven Services provide support to women and children suffering from domestic violence. On Thursday 27th February Clare Haven Horizons are holding a one-day event in order to rearrange their sorting dept which supports the charity shop at the Gort Road Industrial Estate. They are looking for volunteers to assist with sorting donations and restocking both the clothing and furniture home-store. This is a team event and all volunteers will be working together in various areas. Refreshments will be provided on the day as well as a great welcome and appreciation. This is a great opportunity to get to know and understand how funds are generated in order to provide support services for people accessing Clare Haven Services.
