Scoil Chríost Rí is a Co-Educational Catholic primary school where they strive to help each individual pupil achieve his/her full potential and place a high emphasis on Literacy, Numeracy and Computer work as a means of reaching this goal.
What's Involved
The Board of Management at Scoil Chríost Rí in Cloughleigh along with The Lions Club have set up a breakfast club for children attending the school. The aim of the club is to provide a breakfast for children before attending school. This facility is set up to support up to 20 children.
The Breakfast club is run at the Junction Community Building in Cloughleigh from Monday - Friday mornings between 8.15am - 9.15am
They are looking for volunteers who will work in pairs and be on a roster basis to carry out the following duties one morning a week. :-
Set up breakfasts which will include (cereal, glass of milk, slice of toast ).
Serve the breakfast to children in a seated area.
Assist in the clean up.
School starts at 9am and a teacher will arrive at 08.55am to collect pupils and walk them to the school.

What's required for this position
The volunteer needs to be reliable
Have good personable skills
Have good communication skills
Be Non judgemental
Volunteers should also enjoy working with children and be happy to support this community initiative.
