Would you like to volunteer as a shop assistant in our George's Street charity shop? If you have four or more hours a week to help out we would be delighted to hear from you. Not only would you be contributing to our services we provide but also gaining valuable experience in retail as well. Oxfam Ireland shops are run by an enthusiastic teams of volunteers; this role requires volunteers who can assist in shop operations for our George's Street location. Key Tasks include: • Maintaining shop standards • Replenishment and rotation of stock • Pricing, labelling and processing of stock • General housekeeping • Receiving donations • Greeting and interacting with customers • Dealing with customer enquirers • Till duties and cash handling • Promote shop initiatives • Data capture for Gift Aid Personal Development Opportunities: • Meet new people • Join a fun and welcoming team • Develop communication skills • Build confidence • Develop customer service and basic retail skills • Add valuable experience to your CV Full training and support will be provided.
