Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC)

About Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC)

The ISPCC has been protecting children and championing their rights since 1889. Every year the Society works with thousands of children and parents to build stronger, healthier families, who can cope with challenges, solve problems and raise happy resilient children. The ISPCC provides a range of family support services with a model of child centred practice. They main services provided to children and families are: Childhood Support Service, Childline Listening and Childline Digital Supports.

What's Involved

ISPCC Childline's National Fundraising Day takes place on Friday May 17th this year. In addition to our street fundraising collection we have partnered with Aldi who are kindly allowing us to bucket fundraise in their stores Nationwide on that day. This is a huge opportunity for us to raise much needed funds but we need your help!

Could you organise your office, community group or group of friends to lead the bucket collection in your local Aldi store? We need 2 people maximum at any time but you may need a team of 10 to cover shifts for the day etc. We will provide you with your buckets / tee-shirts etc, and also any support you need on the day, but as it covers the country we are looking for one person to organise the day itself in their location.

This is a great opportunity for a Corporate Team Day, or Transition Year Project. Whoever you are and if you think you can lead this in your area, we would really love to hear from you!

What's required for this position

You will need to be an organiser, and good with people. You are representing yourself / office / community group as well as ISPCC Childline. An outgoing personality is really helpful as you will be trying to raise as much money as possible to ensure Childline Change is a success.
