About Age Action Monaghan
The vision of Age Action is that ‘Ireland becomes the best country in which to grow older.’
The services and programmes provided by Age Action support older people and their families to live full and independent lives. Areas of work under taken by Age Action include computer training, information service, campaign and policy work and life long learning.
The Age Action charity shops provide a vital source of income for Age Action while also acting as Information centres, flexible employment opportunities, recycling facility and a base for social contact.

Volunteers will assist in our busy shop in the centre of Monaghan Town:
Preparing clothing, books and bric a brac for sale.
Assisting female customers in the changing area. An interest in fashion and ability to help our customers select outfits would be an advantage.
There may also be some till work involved.
Role available from the beginning of July 2019. The shift is 4 hours on a Saturday morning or afternoon. The volunteer will get a tea break during her shift, with tea/coffee/biscuits provided.
What's required for this position
Retail experience and the ability to get on well with others.
Available for 4 hours on Saturdays.
