About Amnesty International Ireland

Amnesty International Ireland is the country’s largest human rights organisation with over 15,000 members and supporters. We are part of a global movement of over 3.2 million people working in more than 150 countries around the world. Our sole concern is the protection of the fundamental human rights guaranteed to each one of us by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

What's Involved

Are you passionate about LGBTQI+ rights? If so, this is a great opportunity to show your support.

Amnesty will be marching at Dublin Pride 2022 on Saturday 25th June. Alongside this, we’ll be doing some fundraising for our LGBTQI+ campaign around the streets where people are celebrating.

Your role will be to go amongst these celebrations with your group wearing the lovely Amnesty ‘Love Knows No Borders’ t-shirt that you get to keep. We will have tap to donate fundraising buckets and some fun Amnesty sunglasses to sell.

We’d like you to dedicate volunteer time of 3/4 hours between the times of 2pm & 7pm. For example, you might volunteer between 2pm & 6pm or 4pm & 7pm. We can discuss the times you are available when you sign up to volunteer.

This event will be great fun and will bring in some much needed funds for Amnesty International Ireland. We’re also hoping for some fabulous weather on the day so fingers crossed!
