Barnardos supports children whose well being is under threat, by working with them,their families and communities and by campaigning for the rights of children. Barnardos was established in Ireland in 1962 and is Ireland's leading independent children's charity.

What's Involved

• Assist with the paperwork required for our collection days (Garda permits, insurance etc)
• Assist with phone calls in a friendly and approachable manner to previous warm volunteers to reactivate them for events
• Assist with phone calls to Collection day sites to confirm our date and recording correspondence notes in an efficient and accurate manner
• Provide efficient and accurate administration support to the National Campaigns team utilising relevant IT packages (Microsoft outlook, word, excel), ensuring all data is up to date
• Assist in preparing fundraising packs for posting out to events

What's required for this position

• Excellent English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Confidence dealing with general queries (following training)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
• Interest or experience in office administration
• Awareness of confidentiality

Level of English required for this role:
Fluent English
