About Festival of Kerry-Street Carnival
Kerry Rose Festival-Street Carnival is the non profit element of the Kerry Rose Festival, one of Ireland's largest and longest running festivals, celebrating 60 years in 2019. The Street Carnival activities are funded by the Festival of Kerry Support Group.
The heart of the festival is the selection of the Rose of Tralee which brings young women of Irish descent from around the world to County Kerry for a global celebration of Irish culture.
What's Involved
Volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of four volunteering shifts of four hours each as a part time volunteer, or eight volunteering shifts of four hours as a full time volunteer (including meal breaks).
The Festival runs from Friday the 23rd of August to Tuesday the 27th of August 2019. Volunteer roles include Event; Logistics; Park/Family and Hospitality. Previous volunteering experience at our Festival or others would be an advantage. Further details are available on the application form available from volunteers@roseoftralee.ie
