About Cuidiú
Cuidiú provides support and education for parents and parenthood. Empowering parents to make informed choices through knowledge and mutual support and to progress fulfilled through all stages of parenthood, from pregnancy to raising children to adulthood. This is offered via childbirth education, postnatal support, breastfeeding support and at local meets and events.
What's Involved
We are currently in an exciting a stage of growth and development and looking for a Data Protection Officer to join the Management Team on a voluntary basis to take on the role of overseeing GDPR compliance and Data Protection for Cuidiú.
Our ideal candidate would have some knowledge / experience in the relevant area. The Management Team (Administrative Council) meet in person and via skype on a 6 week basis - there is a minimum requirement of approx. 10 voluntary hours per month.
We are a parent-to-parent support charity run by volunteer parents. The Irish name Cuidiú means care and support for all parents with bumps or babes, tots or teens. Through our network of 25 branches, we help thousands of families each year through pregnancy, birth, early days of parenthood and beyond. We offer antenatal and postnatal courses, local support and reliable information to help all parents.
What's required for this position
Previous experience of data protection and requirements of GDPR would be ideal.
