Third Space

About Third Space

Third Space aims to create a welcoming neighbourhood place where people can gather regularly, easily, informally and inexpensively. It is a social business venture which encourages community and creative groups to use the space at low or no cost. With a simple and great menu and an informal friendly environment, Third Space aims to serve the local work force and residential community.

What's Involved

We work in the tension between the hard nosed business world and the soft culture of the voluntarty/charitable sector. It's an exhilarating place to be! We have recently changed our leadership model and are excited to meet a like minded/hearted individual who will enjoy developing our focus in community relationships. You might be planning a talk at a local school or organising a new customer client to use our suspended coffee programme. We hope to meet you soon !

Your responsibilities will be:
1. The development of existing relationships between Third Space and the community initiatives that use Third Space
2. The pioneering of new relationships with groups beyond the existing network of relationships.
3. The use of social media to contact meet-up groups, community organisers, creatives, local residents in both social and private housing, and students and workers in both areas
