About Dublin Simon Community

Dublin Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. We provide services at all stages of homelessness and enable people to move to a place they can call home.

What's Involved

• Work on a variety of prospect lists supplied by the Corporate/National Partnerships Manager and research who is the best person for Dublin Simon to engage with
• Create prospect lists from online research and present data in format that be uploaded easily to the Dublin Simon Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, Raisers Edge
• Assist team in researching potential partnerships and ensuring contacts are kept up to date
• Maintain a clear pipeline of potential partners and update status as required
• Assist team on all administration tasks

What's required for this position

• Keen attention to detail and good research skills.
• Keen interest in researching companies to build up thorough understanding and knowledge of why they would be a good fit for Dublin Simon
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, coupled with excellent administrative skills
• Ability to work both independently and effectively with other team members.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Commitment to Dublin Simon Community’s values and a working style which reflects these.

Intermediate English

Hours required: 5hrs Weekly

Other Details

Location of volunteering opportunity:
Flexible, can volunteer from home with occasional planned office visits to Red Cow Lane
