About ActionAid Ireland
ActionAid Ireland provides long term support to women and their children in developing countries, so they can overcome the obstacles holding them back. We are an international development organisation seeking to eradicate the injustice of poverty by working with local partner organisations, lobbying national and international governments and institutions, and mobilising our supporter base.
What's Involved
We are running one of our biggest fundraising drives for the organisation in June, that is, a direct mail pack to a large volume of potential donors across Ireland and need help with processing the returns. This would include opening the post, sorting the donations and the returned packs, such as "Return to Sender" etc.
The role would commence on the week beginning the 10th of June.
We also have a supporter evening in Dun Laoghaire on the 11th of June that we would like some help with.
What's required for this position
Full support will be given but attention to detail and the ability to use basic tasks in excel would be great.
