About Clones Development Society Ltd
Clones Development Society oversee the Ulster Canal Stores, which is a recently renovated heritage building. It is home to our Meals on Wheels service and also to Clones Lace Museum and a restaurant is offering breakfast, snacks and dinners, and caters for parties. We also offer tourist and heritage information, and run guided walking tours during the summer months.
What's Involved
A family in Clones have recently purchased a large knitting machine and would like to make contact with a volunteer who has experience of using knitting machines.
This volunteer would be required to provide assistance on a very short-term basis while the family are becoming familiar with the use of this machine.
What's required for this position
Knowledge of crafts and knitting machines. A knowledge of Arabic would be useful as this is the language spoken by the family who own the machine.
