Home to Clones Lace, a new museum will be installed in 2018, and a full time restaurant is on site, offering breakfast, snacks and dinners, and caters for parties. We offer Tourist and Heritage information, and run guided walking tours during the summer months.

What's Involved

A family in Clones have recently purchased a large knitting machine and would like to make contact with a volunteer who has experience of using knitting machines.

This volunteer would be required to provide assistance on a very short-term basis while the family are becoming familiar with the use of this machine.

What's required for this position

Knowledge of crafts and knitting machines. A knowledge of Arabic would be useful as this is the language spoken by the family who own the machine.
