About Multiple Sclerosis Ireland
Multiple Sclerosis Ireland provides information, support and advocacy services to the MS community. We work with people with MS, their families and carers and a range of key stakeholders including health professionals, students and other interested in or concerned about MS to ensure that we meet our goals.
We are looking for a volunteer to drive and collect a person with multiple sclerosis to a local physiotherapy class.
The person is mobile but needs to be accompanied,. The place of the class is less then a 5 minute drive from the persons house. The class lasts for 1 hour.
What's required for this position
1) Clean driving licence and own car.
2) Someone who would have patience and empathy
Level of English required for this role:
Times and commitment required for this role
Minimum time commitment: 6 months
Hours required: 1hrs Weekly
Location of volunteering opportunity:
MS care centre 65 bushy park road Rathgar Dublin 6
The client lives 5 minutes from the centre.
