About Society of St. Vincent de Paul - (SVP East Region)
Society of St. Vincent de Paul tackle poverty in all its forms through the provision of practical assistance to those in need, working for social justice and the creation of a more just and caring nation. SVP East Region includes; Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.
We are Ireland's largest voluntary organization and we really need your help – please join us and offer the Hand of Friendship to those less fortunate.
Visiting people in their homes with another volunteer, at their request. The volunteers meet with the person at their home to decide how best to assist the person/family.
Full training will be given. You will be joining a great team of like-minded persons - who want to help those less fortunate.
What's required for this position
Just a listening ear, and the willingness to help.

Minimum time commitment: 1 year
Hours required: 3hrs Weekly

Particularly need support at the moment in Dublin 5, 11 &17.
Raheny, Ballymun / Belclare, Coolock, Kilbarrack, Donoghmeade and Clarehall / Darndale.
