About Drogheda LGBTQ+ Social and Support Group
Drogheda LGBTQ+ is a voluntary group in Drogheda ,where people from local and surrounding areas can come to get education on Homophobic bullying, mental health problems, suicide awareness . STI clinics, peer supports and much much more. We also organise the annual Drogheda PRIDE Festival which takes place in July.
What's Involved
Drogheda Pride 2020 is bigger and better than ever before! This year we are holding a parade on Saturday 25th July with performers and participants coming from all over the country. We require the help of volunteers in the following areas.
- Street Stewards
- Leaflet Distribution
- Facepainting
- Street Performance/Musical Performers
- Volunteer Photographer.
We particularly want to welcome local people to participate however are happy to involve all volunteers, no matter where they come from.
What's required for this position
Excellent communication skills
Specialist skills such as facepainting, photography or musical ability an advantage but not essential
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
Times and commitment required for this role
