About Irish Red Cross - Dublin City (Borough)
The Irish Red Cross provides first-aid cover at numerous events around the country every week, ranging from concerts to sports events and community festivals. Our first-aid cover at such events is provided by volunteer members who are trained to Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council ( PHECC) standards.
What's Involved
Volunteer First Aider / EFR / CFR / EMT / FAR - This is an opportunity to volunteer with the worlds largest humanitarian organisation, learn life saving skills and make new friends. Irish Red Cross Dublin City/Borough are actively seeking new members to join our Units.
Our Units provide ambulance and medical cover at a large range of events including equestrian events, sporting events and music events such as Electric Picnic,RDS, RHK, Malahide Castle just to name a few.
Volunteers will be provided with the necessary training to enable them to gain the necessary skills to be part of a Red Cross ambulance crew.
What's required for this position
No prior training required. All training will be provided internally by our qualified instructors, unless you are externally qualified.
