About Monaghan Integrated Development CLG
Monaghan Integrated Development is a Local Development Company funded by the Irish Government and charged with the delivery of a range of programmes whose aim is to support specific target groups with a view to making a positive difference in their lives.
A core role of Monaghan Integration Development is to promote social inclusion, support enterprise development and employment creation, facilitate access to education, training and lifelong learning and assist community groups in identifying needs and developing local solutions.
What's Involved
We are running our third annual Health Fair and this year it will take place in Carrickmacross on Friday 15th March. The Health Fair is a chance for members of the public to find out about healthy eating, try out new types of exercise, have a free blood pressure check and much more.
Volunteers will be needed between 10.30 am and 2.00 pm and refreshments will be provided.
Tasks:
* Directing traffic and assisting people to cross the road safely between the Market Square and the Shirley Arms Hotel.
* Handing out fliers around the town to encourage people to drop over to the Health Fair.
What's required for this position
No particular skills needed, but it helps if you are a friendly and enthusiastic person.
