Solas Project is a charity (CHY 17385) based in Dublin 8. Our vision is to see communities rejuvenated. We aim to do this by equipping and building up young people to overcome all limitations imposed on them by social and educational disadvantage through the adventure of discovering their abilities and self-worth.

What's Involved

We are looking for someone to support our After Schools club by way of helping children aged 6 - 13 with:

  • homework,
  • initiating games,
  • chat and interaction with them,
  • sitting down with them over a meal and
  • using positive psychology to affirm them
  • help Solas Project in our goals of building up their self-worth, motivation and character.

    What's required for this position

    You need to enjoy working with young people or children, and / or be passionate about creating a more fair society for the next generation.

    Level of English required for this role:
    Intermediate English

    Times and commitment required for this role


    Minimum time commitment: 3 months

    Hours required: 4hrs Weekly
