About Tipperary Talking Newspapers

We provide an abridged version of news items from local newspapers in audio format on USB sticks which are then distributed weekly to Blind and visually impaired clients throughout Tipperary and beyond.

What's Involved

This task involves the systematic perusal of news catagories in the 3 local newspapers working as part of a team of 4 people. On selecting articles, editors are required to read and edit down the article if required to a concise piece of news, ready for recording.

What's required for this position

Being a reader would be an asset , An interest in local and current affairs and the Ability to select and edit news articles to be recorded by the readers.
