About Depaul

Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.

What's Involved

We are looking for a volunteer who can help some of our residents to develop skills in knitting and/or sewing.

If you would like to join the team and help facilitate valuable life skills and crafts, meet new people and help make a difference in people's lives, then please let us know!

What's required for this position

You'll need skills in crafting; knitting, sewing, embroidery, needlework etc. Also an ability to take the initiative to run workshops and engage service users, along with good interactive skills and empathy, will benefit you in this role.

Hours required: 2hrs Weekly
