About Swords Intercultural Festival
Swords Intercultural Festival Group is a Community Group promoting and developing intercultural activities and events in Swords and its environs through the medium of traditional music, dance and dress from the many nationalities that now live, work and play in Swords and the surrounding areas.
The aim of the group is to promote social and cultural awareness of the diversity and cultures of our community. To foster and encourage social integration and to further a greater sense of health and well-being.
We wish to bring people together in a safe social setting to enjoy each other’s company, taste each other’s food and to enjoy the music and dance.
What's Involved
Help with the festival organisation by bringing their professional expertise to the group. Filling forms and creating spreadsheets and roster, negotiating with suppliers and coordinating performers. Liaising with the council and other organisations.
What's required for this position
We need a professional Event organiser to support us achieve our project.
