Dublin Wizard Con Volunteer 2021

Dublin Wizard Con

About Dublin Wizard Con

Dublin Wizard Con aims to raise money for our three great charity partners - Dogs Trust, Barnardos and Pieta House. We are a group of Harry Potter fans (and friends) on a quest to unite and befriend as many like minded wizards as possible under one roof.

What's Involved

Volunteers for Dublin Wizard Con will be helping in two areas directly raising money for our charity partners; Pieta House, Barnardos and Dog's Trust.

The Wizard Carnival
We need volunteers to staff our carnival stands, these are wizard takes on traditional carnival games; knock over the pumpkins, throw the hat on the witch, hook a toad, and so on! People will have the chance to swap their "muggle money" for wizard money to spend on games, all money raised goes straight to the charities.

Raffle Booth
We need volunteers in this booth that will display the prizes for the raffle and volunteers will sell raffle tickets. All money raised is split equally between the three partner charities.

When
Dublin Wizard Con takes place from 30th & 31st Oct 2021 in the RDS over a weekend. We need people there from 9.30am until 6.30pm and ideally the same volunteers could do both days.

Dates of Volunteering: 30th & 31st Oct 2021.

What's required for this position
