About Killarney Rugby Club
Develop rugby in the greater Killarney area as an active, healthy and safe pastime for males and females across all age groups.
Killarney Rugby was officially founded in 1928 and as it comes towards its centenary, the club would like to involve volunteers who would put together club stories and memorabilia (photos, newspaper clippings, medals, jerseys...), interview former members and ultimately put together a comprehensive club history.
What's required for this position
Good research skills to gather all the information. Strong people skills as the bulk of the memorabilia is held by former players / club members. Good writing skills to weave it into a story. Support will be provided by the club.

Minimum time commitment: 2 years
Hours required: 2hrs Weekly
Location of volunteering opportunity:
The club is based in Aghadoe but a good portion of the research could be carried out virtually.
