Would you be interested in becoming a Club Historian?
Killarney Rugby Club was officially founded in 1928 and as it comes towards its centenary, the club would like to involve volunteers who would put together club stories and memorabilia (photos, newspaper clippings, medals, jerseys...), interview former members and ultimately put together a comprehensive club history.
What's required for this position
Good research skills to gather all the information. Strong people skills as the bulk of the memorabilia is held by former players / club members. Good writing skills to weave it into a story. Support will be provided by the club.
