About Foroige (Fingal wide)

Foróige is the National Youth Development Organisation. We work with young people aged 12-18.
We have over 500 Foróige youth clubs nationally, which cater for over 13000 young people.

Clubs are led by volunteer adult leaders with support from the youth officer for the area.
Clubs get involved in numerous activities including games, sports, art and crafts, music, drama and whatever else the young people would like to get involved in.

What's Involved

Assisting with the running of youth group. Encouraging young people to get actively involved in organising activities and events.

Working with young people and other volunteers as a team. Building positive relationships with young people in group.

Exploring opportunities with young people. Helping young people achieve things for themselves. Creating an enjoyable and fun atmosphere in the group.

There are also opportunities to engage with young people in organised online clubs and activities

What's required for this position

Have an interest in working with young people.
Believe in young peoples abilities.
Be approachable and outgoing.
Willing to get involved in activities with young people and enjoy yourself.
