What's Involved
St. Dominic's Secondary school requires voluntary special needs assistants to help students in class who have special educational needs.
Volunteers will assist students participating in groups, ensuring that they have the required materials and also assist with organising homework.
What's required for this position
Understanding of the needs of young people who have special educational needs. A person willing to take time to get know the strengths of the young people and instill in them the confidence to participate in the various subjects.
