Caring and Sharing Association (CASA) works to develop friendships and provide respite and social outlets for people with disabilities. We are unique in that we work with and support people with all disabilities - physical, sensory and intellectual - of all ages and from all backgrounds.
What's Involved
We need you!! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers for our Sunday Socials.
CASA is a volunteer led organisation; we run monthly socials for adults and kids with disabilities.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who are interested in working and gaining experience with people with disabilities. Without our team of dedicated volunteers we could not continue to provide this vital service and we are always looking for caring new people to join our groups.
The socials are always good fun and an enjoyable experience for all.
What's required for this position
Not skills as such, but it helps to be patient, open, friendly, a good communicator and respectful of where each individual is coming from. The emphasis is on interaction, friendship and fun.
