About The Mater Foundation
The Mater Foundation is the official fundraising body of the Mater Hospital. The aim of the Mater Foundation is enable state of the art patient care in the Mater Hospital by funding new equipment, facilities, staff training and medical research.
What's Involved
As we work to achieve our goal of inspiring and enabling financial support for the Mater Public Hospital, we are fortunate to work alongside our wonderful volunteers. The work of our volunteers allows the Mater Foundation to continue advancing care for every patient of the Mater Hospital.
Do you have a couple of hours to spare during the week and like to support the Mater Foundation?
*Volunteers are required to assist in promoting all fundraising and communications events of the Mater Foundation by manning a desk in the main foyer of the Hospital.
*To assist with merchandise sales for the Mater Foundation at the desk in the main foyer of the hospital.
*To be a representative for the Mater Foundation.
*To promote on going Mater Foundation campaigns to patients, visitors and staff.
At the moment, we particularly need assistance on Mondays (morning or afternoon) and Thursday afternoons.
The Mater Foundation was set up to raise funds to enhance patient comfort and care at The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
What's required for this position
Passionate about the work of The Mater Foundation to enhance patient care. Friendly, warm and outgoing. Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work well within a team. Self-motivator, flexible, innovative and enthusiastic.
