Caring and Sharing Association. Offers a befriending service to individuals with an intellectual disability monthly.
What's Involved
CASA is a voluntary group that provides a social outlet for adults with physical/intellectual disabilities. Our monthly social is on Sunday afternoons ie 12.30 to 5.30.
We operate on a one to one basis within a group setting. We are currently looking for suitable volunteers to participate in the monthly socials/fundraisers which runs from September to June.
Garda vetting is necessary before volunteer can take part in socials.
If you are 16 or over, have five hours per month to give of your time, are a good mixer and enjoy life, then make contact and we will and take it from there.
What's required for this position
The volunteer needs to have a caring nature and an ability to work well with others. Must be very reliable.
