About County Louth Agricultural Show

An Agricultural event with a series of demonstrations, displays and competitions involving animals such as Sheep, Cattle, Horses, Alpacas and ponies, Arts & Crafts, Painting Baking, Tradestands to support local enterprise etc... The profits from this years show will be given to a selected charity "Sosad". Each year the show selects a different charity and donates funds to this charity with the remaining profits after running the event.The Show is now in tis 124th year the oldest Agricultural Show in Ireland.

What's Involved

Competition Marshals needed for Louth Agricultural Show taking place at Bellurgan Park on Sunday 11th June. You will be required to ensure all entries have correct tickets for competitions. You will be involved in helping entries find relevant category areas to display entries. You will help display entries. Co-ordinate and administer recording of winning entries in various competitions. You may also be asked to pick up litter during less busy periods. You will be assigned a 4 hour shift throughout the day, show will take place from 9am - 6pm. Your lunch, tea & coffee will be provided. Transport can be arranged for any volunteers that would like to help but don't have access to their own transportation.
