About Good Morning Louth
Free telephone service for older people in County Louth to enhance their sense of security and wellbeing in their own homes.
To provide them with opportunity to share worries or concerns and to provide information on local services thereby connecting them to their community. Reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
What's Involved
Volunteers will make friendly calls at scheduled times to older people who have signed up for the service.
The purpose of the friendly phone call is to ensure the older person is safe and well.
Give information on useful local services when requested.
Our telephone service in Ardee operates each Monday and Wednesday from 9 am-1 pm and would like to involve additional volunteers in the service.
Fluent English is essential..
