Irish Blood Transfusion Service meets patient blood compenent needs nationwide through professionalism of staff and the generosity of donors

Irish Blood Transfusion Service needs to collect 3000 donations every week but currently only 3% of the eligible population in Ireland currently donate.
1 in 4 people will require a blood transfusion.

What's required for this position
No skills needed - although not everybody is able to give blood - for many varying reasons. You can take the eligibility test on www.giveblood.ie to see if you might be able to give blood

Minimum time commitment: Once Off
Location of volunteering opportunity:
At local clinics every three months throughout the country. In addition, we have permanent clinics in D'Olier Street and Stillorgan (both Dublin) and St Finbarrs Hospital Cork
