About Granard Community Childcare Facility

Granard Community Child Care Facility was established over 25 years ago in response to the needs of the community for the inclusion of all children. Today we cater for the daytime care of all children aged between 4months and 12 years of age We have a dedicated staff many who have been with us from the start and all of whom have Garda Vetting.

What's Involved

Volunteer Childcare Assistant required to assist a toddler with Down Syndrome with different activities during playgroup time. The program of activities will be led by a teacher. Volunteer required between 12.30 and 4.30pm or whatever hours a volunteer can give within that timeframe.

What's required for this position

Friendly, patient and outgoing person with good communication skills.

Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
