About Royal Canal Clean-Up Team
The Royal Canal Team exists to bring together local residents in an effort to keep the canal-way a clean and appealing place, while promoting the idea of looking after the local area and keeping it litter-free for all to enjoy. The Royal Canal Way is a great public amenity in Dublin City, and we want to make it even better! Our aim is to get a group of concerned citizens together to come out and tidy up the space once a month (the second Saturday of every month).
Do you want to help make the Royal Canal a more pleasant place to spend time? Are you looking for a way to get involved locally and meet new people?
We go out once a month on the 2nd Saturday to clear litter and rubbish from the Royal Canal Way from North Strand to Castleknock. We start at 11am and work for about 2 hours.
We have a number of meeting points:

Ashtown (The Canal Bar)
Crossguns Bridge (beside Des Kelly's)

We are particularly interested in having volunteers who live in the immediate area to join us, but we welcome anyone who is willing to join.
