Outreach Van Volunteer


About Ruhama

Ruhama is a national voluntary organisation based in Dublin that works to provide frontline supports to women affected by prostitution and victims of sex trafficking. We offer a range of confidential and non-judgemental services including outreach, advocacy, education and development programmes and counselling.

What's Involved

- Carry out 3 outreach shifts per month, at least one weeknight and one weekend night (Fri or Sat), and attend monthly team meeting (last Weds of each month)
- Provide non judgemental, non directive support and information to women regarding other services available within Ruhama
- Perform Outreach in accordance with Van Outreach Guidelines and Health and Safety Procedures
- Record appropriate data and submit Outreach Van Forms to Ruhama Administrative Staff
- When possible notify your supervisor at least 48 hours if you cannot attend a rostered shift
- Participate in training and supervision provided

What's required for this position

Minimum time commitment: 2 years

Hours required: 10hrs Monthly
