Art and Craft Facilitator

Depaul

About Depaul

Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.

What's Involved

Do you enjoy making things and expressing yourself creatively? Could you share your talents with people experiencing homelessness? We are looking for volunteers to encourage social interaction in the service through art and craft activities. You will devise and lead sessions for small groups and will encourage service users to develop their own interests and talents.

Depaul work with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We strive to provide support in all aspects of service users' lives while ensuring our services have a warm homely atmosphere. Our service users are at risk of loneliness and isolation, and you can help combat this by introducing them to cultural and artistic pursuits that will enhance their lives.
