About Sligo Social Services
Sligo Social Services Council Ltd. is a voluntary company, limited by guarantee, established to respond to the needs of individuals, families and communities in the Sligo region promoting justice, equality and the dignity of the human being. Volunteers are central to the work of Sligo Social Services. Volunteers work alongside professional staff to deliver vital services to those in need.
What's Involved
We are looking for volunteers who are available and may be called at short notice to go on our Volunteer Relief Panel to cover for occasions when volunteers are unable to do their shifts.
The volunteer will be serving & helping customers along with pricing clothes and bric-a-brac and general upkeep of the shop.
Volunteer will cover four hour shifts to ensure a smooth running of the shop. There will be a minimum of two people per shift.
What's required for this position
All candidates must be polite and courteous and cutomer focused. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
