About Chapelizod Tidy Towns

Work on improving the appearance of the tidy towns in the Chapelizod area. The committee have won a number of prizes over the years.

What's Involved

New members are invited to join Chapelizod Tidy Towns to assist with environmental projects and community clean ups around the Chapelizod area. Activities would include;
Street sweeping and litter control
Pruning bushes and hedges
Painting and maintenance

We would also welcome a volunteer who could assist us with the Tidy Town application process; taking photographs, planning, ideas for ecological projects featuring biodiversity and or recycling initiatives.

Clean-ups happen every two weeks on a Saturday morning from 10am-1pm from March to August. No minimum time commitment - any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's required for this position

Friendly, hard working, open to new ideas, willing to get stuck in, enjoy chat and tea!

  • Personable Skills
  • Trades/ Operative/ Manual

Level of English required for this role:
Basic English

Times and commitment required for this role


Minimum time commitment: 3 months

Hours required: 3hrs Fortnightly
