What's Involved

Volunteering may be temporarily curtailed due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Would you like to help make your neighbourhood the best it can be? Enjoy being out in the fresh air? Tidy Towns is a great way to meet new people while helping to develop vibrant and sustainable communities. You'll get satisfaction seeing the results of your hard work!

Generations of Tidy Towns volunteers have been improving the environment in which we live for over 60 years, helping to transform the appearance of our towns and villages.

New members are invited to join Chapelizod Tidy Towns to assist with environmental projects and community clean ups around the Chapelizod area. Activities would include;
* Street sweeping and litter control
* Pruning bushes and hedges
* Painting and maintenance

Competition Application Process
We would also welcome a volunteer who could assist us with the Tidy Town application process; taking photographs, planning, ideas for ecological projects featuring biodiversity and or recycling initiatives.

Time Commitment
Clean-ups happen every two weeks on a Saturday morning from 10am-1pm from April to September. There's no minimum time commitment - any help would be greatly appreciated.
