Carrick on Suir River Rescue

About Carrick on Suir River Rescue

River rescue is a long and proud tradition in the town of Carrick. For as many years as anybody can remember, fishermen have come together to conduct searches on the river whenever the need arose and they formally came together under the Carrick on Suir River Rescue name about forty years ago. In a lot of cases those involved have had the love of the river and the ethic of serving the community handed down to them from father to son for generations
