About North West Hospice
The North West Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for people living with life-limiting illness in our community. We cover Sligo, Leitrim, South Donegal and West Cavan.
What's Involved
The person would offer simple, relaxing and comforting massage treatments for people staying with us in the hospice. To have a friendly, respectful manner in all dealings and to be able to uphold confidentiality.
What's required for this position
the volunteer would need to be fully qualified and experienced in giving massages. the person needs to fully insured and ideally member of massage association in Ireland. The person needs to feel comfortable to be around people who are living with a life limiting illness and end of life care. They will need to be a good listener and have good communication skills.
