What's Involved

The Liberties Festival, run by SICCDA in collaboration with Cuckoo Events, is one of Ireland’s oldest festivals. From modest beginnings in 1970 it has grown to become a highlight of the summer in Dublin with a series of family-friendly, sporting and community events, and an exciting multi-cultural and arts programme encompassing visual art, film, dance, comedy, literature and music.

Blue Rinse Ball
The Blue Rinse Ball is a not-to-be-missed highlight in the social calendar of the senior residents of the Liberties. The “Blue Rinse Ballers” are wined, dined, entertained and thoroughly spoiled. It is a very popular, well attended annual event. We need volunteers like you to make it a success!

The volunteer will be involved in setting up before the Ball, serving food and drinks and generally helping out. Helping out to clean up afterwards would be gratefully appreciated. All hands on deck!

The date has yet to be confirmed, but it will be between 17th-21st July 2019
