Rehabcare is a community-based resource centre that assist people with disabilities to achieve their full potential and a better quality of life. Our mission is helping "the people we support to be more independent; helping them to contribute to and be more included in their communities; empowering them with the skills and confidence to be active in the workforce; and supporting them to be in charge of their health and wellness".
What's Involved
We are looking for a person with skills in mechanics to help with tutoring the service users in the basics of car maintenance, e.g. changing tyres, checking tyre pressure, checking oil/water, changing bulbs and other various essentials for car ownership.
Rehabcare will have access to a car that can be used for the learning.

What's required for this position
Must be Personable and Patient, able to work with learners of varying ability. Knowledge of car mechanics is essential.
