What's Involved
The Administration Volunteer will be involved in the day to day activities, helping the Volunteer Centre to support charities and community groups to recruit and manage volunteers.
Key tasks will include:
1. Working on our Salesforce CRM database system to update organisation information and recording activities, such as;
-Checking the status of volunteering roles
-Contacting organisations to find out if applicants have started volunteering in advertised roles
-Updating information about member organisations and volunteering roles
2. Being a key point of contact, supporting Organisations to develop their volunteer programs;
- Providing support by email or phone as required,
- Reviewing, editing and posting volunteer role adverts on our I-VOL database,
- Advising on how to improve recruitment techniques to reach target audience
3. Assisting in the management of our Quality Check Programme to ensure the roles advertised on the I-VOL national database are clear and contain all the information a potential volunteer may need.
4. Liaising with Volunteer Centre staff and contributing to team projects.
Volunteer Induction & Training will be provided.
Commitment of Time
We are looking for a minimum commitment of 6 hours a week, days and times are flexible to suit volunteer.
What's required for this position
This role would be of interest to someone who is looking to improve their office experience, brush up on skills or get experience in the community and voluntary sector.
We are looking for someone with:
* IT skills including MS Office, particularly Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Extensive administration and project management experience
* Experience of database CRM systems such as Salesforce
* Quality driven, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement
* Friendly pleasant manner
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Respect for confidentiality of data.

Volunteering can take place remotely and / or also at our offices on Aungier Street, Dublin 2.
