About Friends of The Mercy University Hospital
Friends of The Mercy University Hospital aims to provide a befriending service to patients within The Mercy Hospital.
What's Involved
Visiting patients within the hospital. The role includes chatting, reading and listening to patients and also walking with the patients.
Please note: This role is subject to Garda Vetting by the hospital as the volunteering involves working with vulnerable people. Anyone who has worked outside of Ireland will be required to supply a police clearance letter/form from the relevant country.

A volunteer with particular skills for example in knitting or maybe fluent in another language would be welcome.
