What's Involved
Volunteer Befriender required to provide companionship and friendship to an adult with an intellectual disability.
As a friend you will be expected to carry out a range of tasks such as developing interests, activities and hobbies with the individual. These tasks will be designed to improve the individual's well-being as well as reducing feelings of isolation.

Volunteers with a background or interest in Music, Gardening/Horticulture and Beauty Therapy or Hairdressing would be greatly welcomed.
