Concern Wordwide is an international organisation dedicated to reducing suffering and working towards elimination of extreme poverty.
What's Involved
Concern hold a number of street and church gate collections across the country throughout the year to raise funds for their work overseas in 26 countries.
Our collections are led by local volunteers who go out into their community and raise much needed funds for Concern`s work.
Our collections require a few hours of your time, usually 1-2 hours for church gate collections and 2+ hours of your time for street collections. Concern will arrange the permit and location and send the materials on to collectors in advance of the collection.
We are seeking lead collectors who are willing to take on extra responsibility and help to organise groups of volunteers in their community and to lodge the raised funds to Concern.
We also need volunteers who are willing to spare a couple of hours to collect for Concern.
Join us as a Concern volunteer, and together we can work to end poverty and hunger.
What's required for this position
This role requires a well organised person who works well with others. Fundraising experience is welcomed but not essential.
