As the leading Arts Centre in the Northwest, The Model supports artists across art forms, providing a platform for engagement with the arts. The Model brings the best national and international work to Sligo for the local community and our visitors to County Sligo, placing Sligo on the international cultural map.
The volunteer will assist in the running of events in a progressive and busy arts centre. Role includes events set-up, art exhibition installation and general building maintenance.
The volunteer will also be required to act as an usher for events. This role can involve some heavy lifting and physical labour.
Orientation, training and support will be given.
What's required for this position
An interest and experience in some form of technical/manual labour. An interest in arts and culture is an advantage.
Safe pass and manual handling certificate an asset.
